Clogs with Deter Sewer Line
Clogging of the sewer line should not be a plumbing problem you can leave alone. Not only will the degree of the damage not be increased but your household will be deeply disturbed. If your wastewater line is blocked, check the sewer system with a qualified plumber and, if necessary, have it blocked or repaired. You need to know how to prevent the clog of the sewer lines–check out some of the following tips for those of you who do not want this problem at home or simply do not want to happen again.
Maintain a large distance from sewer pipes between plants
Homeowners often ignore the threat of certain vegetation in their garden. They are too focussed on enhancing their pond that they forget or do not know that the sewage pipes and water lines next to the household could be dangerous. Plants like trees and shrubs are obstructive. There are plant species. Sewer pipes are indeed a great plant nutrient source because they have plenty of water and a few hues of soil. The roots of course pass through the drainage tube or the tube will be damaged.
With the passing of time, the roots will grow until they are sufficiently large to block the sewer line or even completely. Using copper sulphate and cutting machines, you only have to cut the tree causing the root attack against small roots. Naturally, you can avoid the hassle of removing roots and trees if you can maintain a large distance from plants and sewer pipes. You should also know what plants you put in your backyard are characteristic, because there are destructive roots of some tree species.
Always clean and clear the drains
Anything that you blow down drains will go into the drainage line so it is perfectly meaningful to keep them free of debris, residues and other materials. To ensure the drains have top condition, you need to stick to preventive maintenance. In fact, it has become quite a fad among homeowners with the application of chemical dry cleaners.
Using these chemical agents you need to be careful because both water pipes and sewer pipes are corroding if they are constantly exposed. There are pipes that are highly exposure-resistant, but that doesn’t mean you can simply pour out as much cleaner as you want because it can continue to damage the pipe. The use of household drain cleaners such as a mixture of baking soda and vinegar, or the use of environmentally friendly enzyme cleaners is a safer alternative.
Renew or repair your pipes
Pipes that are too old and damaged tend to have clogs most of the time. In fact, there are occurrences in which the clog is caused by the crumbling parts of the pipe lining. If this is the issue then the pipes must be either repaired or completely renewed to avoid a more serious problem in the future.
